we like little squirrels,they go SPLAT!
..since I've been gone for over a week..this shall be a whopper entry!..
well hey everyone! I went to camp last week as a counselor. everything started out fine and dandy,I was in cabin 1(the cabin with the indoor bathroom/shower!)with a wonderful set of girls for the first day with Kristina and Melannie. then on the 2nd day of camp,the director Linda made Kristina and I switch to cabin 10 with a volunteer mom named Dezere. now cabin 10 was..*shudders* the worst cabin I have ever had. I'm serious. we started out with 8 girls,and ended up with 4. 1 switched out of the cabin because she didn't want to be there,2 got into a fist fight,and the last one cussed up a storm and bit Bonnie, one of the other directors. the other 4 were always arguing and had the worst attitudes I have ever seen in little 11 and 12 year olds. on top of everything..I had to teach Dezere what to do since she didn't go through counselor training, Kristina kept taking breaks to flirt with guy counselors and maintenance staff, I tripped and ripped a hole in my jeans and got a gnarly looking wound (its deep, I'm gonna have a scar there), and I got a few white hairs from being stressed. so I'm thinking about going back next week if they need me, because I don't want to leave camp on a bad note like that. plus, Jude is back and he's gonna be a counselor for the rest of the summer! Jude is such an awesome guy, I hung out with him and talked to him when I was stressed out and needed a break. he was at camp 2 years ago,but last month he got in a big fight with these biker guys,and they bashed his head in, so he needed surgery and 2 metal plates. now he can't really focus that well,and his memory is shot..so he needed to make some money, and that's why he's back. I would have pictures of all kinds of people from camp,but I didn't bring my camera..maybe next time eh?
Saturday was Yazmine's 8th birthday party! it was Kiss themed, and everyone got in the spirit of things.

last night Kendra,Yazmine,Lars, and I all went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at 10..the kids fell asleep before it was over of course. Kendra and I both agree that the original was much better,but the new one did have its strong points.
and today..I fed Ryu,and am now relaxing. I still need to unpack and wash clothes,grrr.
I missed my asian muffin a whole bunch! I missed him...like whoa
..I am tired. let me sit with you awhile,you lift my spirits up..
