Thanks to Pete Schmidt...........errrr maybe not
Rachael and I went last night to see Pete Schmidt. On the way there we looked at 3 houses just from the outside for rent in this one area. It's so exciting to think we are actually gonna do this!!! yay! Anyways, we got to the Magic Bag and waited a bit and got in. After doors opened, music didn't start til an hr later. Pete was suppose to go on first and then some band came on instead called Blind Shame. Thankfully to sit threw their 45 minute set, they were really damn freakin good. But the lead singer kept saying up next, flickerstick, up next..... so i was like wtf. Plus this band was rocking hard and their was no way little ol pete could go up after these guys. During this band, i befriended a gay kid haha and he was so nice and told me and rachael to stay for flickerstick cause they are so good. So we did and pete never came on. Flickerstick indeed rocked. They are a mix of ryan adams and U2. I really liked them. They won VH1's battle of the bands and apparently have 5 albums out. Anyways it was not a total loss, i saw 2 sweet bands but where the heel was mr. pete schmidt????
