a random poem....
I found this poem a little bit ago. I haven't ever posted poetry on here before so be kind. :)
Open Wide Your Arms
Open wide your arms, oh dear Lord
Your daughter comes to you this night.
She has bled the devil from her soul
Your fiery sword has opened her soft skin.
She has released her evil, washed it away
Her red river runs strongly to the floor.
Floating away on her ocean of freedom
She lays calm and purified, the evil spirit sprung from its pale cage.
Her skin no longer holds the devil back
She is singing with joy as she watches her river rush and expand.
She watches the wickedness run out of her, slaughtering the devil, killing her mind
She becomes a leaf, floating upon God’s river of wine red blood.
Her mind, her adversary, can win no more!
Raise up, oh Lord, and greet your child!
She comes to you tonight!
