So I'm finally home. I got home last night around 9. OMG it was so horible. We left on the 22 and we were supposed to get into Anchorage at like 12:30 that night. Well that never happened. About 45 minutes into the flight, Ashe started to get a fever. I took her temp and it was 101 so I thought no biggie, I'll just give her some tylonol and put a cool rag on her head and she'll be ok. Well, 30 min later she was still hot so I checked her and it was 103. I waited a bit and checked again and it was 104.5!!!! I started freaking out. I asked the stewardess for a bag of ice and then she asked if there was a dr and such and we took her temp again and it was almost 105. We had to be taken off the plane in Phoenix cause she had to be taken to the childrens hospital. By the time we got off the plane and the paramedics took her temp it was 102 cause of the ice and cold air we had on her. When we got to the hossy 10 min later, it was back up to 103.8!!!! They gave her fluids and ran sme tests and she had a really bad virus. They told me not to get on a plane until the afternoon so the airlines gave me a hotel to stay in.
When I went to check in with Delta, I find out that my bags were put on a plane when they weren't supposed to be. So here I am, no diapers, no clothes, feeling skany as hell cause I've been in the same underwear now for 2 days pissed off. I had to buy diapers at the gift shop in the airport. I also bought tooth paste, a tooth brush and deoderant. I was supposed to be on a delta flight but that was getting in way to late and I needed to get Ashe home so I switched to Alaska Airlines. When I got to Anchorage, I went over to the delta counter to get my bags cause the guy in Phoenix told me my bags would be there. Well I get there and they're not. The guy here at the counter told me to call back at 12:30 and my bags should be here and they will deliver them, if not I have to go file a claim with Alaska Airlines since I flew on them. I call and good news, my bags are here!!! But here's the catch, they arent gonna deliver them to me. Alaska Air has to do that. So I call alaska and they tell me that they wont since delta has the bags and no claim has been filed. She told me that I can go down there, file a claim and they'll deliver them. WHAT THE FUCK!!! IF I COULD TAKE THE TIME TO GO DOWN THERE TO FILE A CLAIM I CAN TAKE MY HAPPY ASS TO THE DELTA COUNTER TO GET THEM!!!! Anyways, after bitching, delta said that they were gonna send the bags to alaska air and such. Well then this morning Alaska Air tells me they wont deliver cause there is no claim but I can pay to get my bags back!!! NO freaking way man, they all screwed up. Needless to say I got my bags delivered to me and I didn't have to pay. I knew my bitchyness would pay off eventually.
Ashe is doing ok now, she still has a temp but not that bad anymore. Well I should end this cause its long and Kristin is coming over to see Ashe. Talk to you all later.
