been a while hasn't it?

Well, its been a while. I've been adjusting... or I guess thats what you'd call it, even though I don't think I have. This is just so weird to be out here, alone, even though youre all so close... Right now I'm listening to a song called Sleeping With Ghosts. Because thats what I feel I'm doing. I talk to people on the phone and remember how it was to date them, and talk to my girlfriend and remember what it meant when i actually got to see her. Now all i have are those memories, and the new friends i meet. This sound melodramatic, but everything is changing so fast, and so few people are remaning constant right now that it just feels true.

A few nights, I've stayed up really late in my room, staring out the window, light music playing in the background. Those nights, I realize how lonely I am.
