Holy Shit You're A Girl!
So I decided to dress up today for work. There's not really a dress code here so most days I roll in with jeans and flip flops. But today I wore a dress, and heeled shoes and yes accessories! Yes I own belts, plural!
Everyone in my department freaked out. Ive had about three people jokingly ask me if I'm going to a job interview. Now I know they're just trying to give me a compliment but it annoys me a little when people say things like that. It feels like teasing to me.
But I'm also kind miffed at myself for not looking nice more often. That its such a contrast to people that they do a double take when I wear things like today.
On a side note. Ladies! How do you personally break in new shoes?
I have trouble finding shoes that wont shred my heels. Its not even a matter of forming some sort of tough skinned heel cause they gets super fucked up, then heal up, and then get soft again. Any suggestions?
