A New Beginning?
I've run out of things to do on the internet, so I thought creating a LiveJournal account would open a new pathway of opportunity. So hooray! Hopefully I won't get sucked into someplace I don't want to be. This is also why I avoid MMOs. I'm quite susceptible to getting in over my head when it comes to addictive online activities.
That said, this will mostly be a place for me to just rant in general about things, as well as post things I've drawn (possibly), written (just maybe), and translated (most definitely). Of the things I'll be translating/have translated, Guilty Gear is definitely most prominent, though I do have some Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors), SaGa Frontier, Final Fantasy VII (Turks-related), and, of course, Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) stuff.
A little about me: I love video games and am obsessed with the Guilty Gear series. I used to be completely obsessed with anime, but as I left high school, went to college, and got a job, my free time has decreased so drastically I spend most of the time I do have to mess around just sitting around, doing pretty much nothing (when I'm not spending it with friends). This is because with my limited 'me' time, just thinking about all the games I have to beat/anime I have to watch/translations I have to work on is enough to force me into a mind-numbed stupor. I've started and not finished at least a dozen games, and have had three translation projects in the works simultaneously, though in the past few days I've had off school I've managed to finish one, axe one, and completely dedicate myself to the last. Still not sure about which game to finish first, though the main contenders are Clock Tower 3, Fable II, and Tales of Vesperia.

Anyway... crap, that used up a lot of what little energy my brain cells were retaining from an unexpected four hours of sleep (been awake since 9AM fixing my car), so I completely lost my train of thought. Bah, tomorrow I'll just make an entry about the anime I need to watch, I guess. Oh, and I should probably post one of my scanlations.
My translation style is what I would call "Gist-Fu". I pretty much get the gist, then make it sound as conversational as I can, since I hate it when manga and such gets translated so literally it makes little to no sense (it's hard to explain, but for an obvious example, honorifics. It's MUCH more than that, though). However, I do my very best to keep it as accurate as possible. I'm so anal about it it isn't even funny, so I'll shut myself up before I get started.
It should also be noted that I am far from a professional, and these are by no means error-free. I'm definitely getting better, but this one is rather old, so... yeah. It's probably got more mistakes. Feedback is so appreciated you don't even know. Anyway, on with the spectacle!
Whoops, one more thing: I've only ever posted this on DustLoop before, and that's the only other place it's allowed to show up. You steal it, you die. Also, I will never post anything ever again. I can't STAND thieves.
