I do not think we shall ever be friends. However, it may be that we will one day be able to stand in the same room without feeling the overwhelming desire to kill one another. I would consider that progress.

To be honest, I do not believe that I would like it either. Being alive is, at the moment, preferable to death. Even if it means living here.

But no. Nina would like very much to be alive. Otherwise, Nina couldn't talk to you!

So I have heard. Still, if we are alive, there remains a chance that we will escape from this place. If we are dead, we are trapped here for eternity.

I enjoy speaking with you as well, Nina. And I especially have enjoyed the books that you were so kind to give to me.

My ability to be sneaky is unreliable. Occasionally I think I have managed it, but most often my attempts at subterfuge are discovered.

I find I am often too busy for companionship.

Yes, but I have a tendency to get bored when all I have done for weeks at a time is paperwork. It aggravates security, which I admit, is part of the fun.

I am. Gaia is always on the verge of catastrophe. Cain? Is he the president of a company as well?

You should have people do paperwork for you! You are a president!

Well... We are not in Gaia anymore.. so Mr. President has time for a lady! No.. Cain is a Lord. He.. is very busy taking care of us all and his family and other important lord stuff. He just doesn't..just doesn't have time for Nina.

If only I could. Personally, I think that job was handed to me to keep me out of trouble.

Somehow, I doubt I would be successful. Perhaps I shall have to have a talk with this Lord Cain. He needs to learn to prioritize his life.

No! Nina thinks you would be very successful! You doubt yourself too much, Mr. President! No, no. Like he said once before. Nina is being foolish. Nina thinks she should be more greatful! Cain provides for Nina and takes very good care of her! ..when he's home and not hiding.

The Turks do not approve of my doing anything that could be considered dangerous. Unfortunately, according to them, leaving the building for a cup of coffee is a potential security hazard.

That would involve attempting to find a lady, and I do not think I have the wherewithall to do so. Just because he provides shelter and food does not mean that he is caring for you properly. And if he is making you feel like you should be grateful to him, then there is something wrong. He should be providing care because he wishes to do so, not out of resentful obligation.
