Completely wrong....
I just spent a little decompression time playing with the cats.
With the laser pointer, I got Buckaroo to run up and down the length of the apartment 3 or 4 times.
With the stick + string + feathers, I got Smudge to run up and down half the length of the apartment and around the living room twice. I also got Buckaroo to run in fear from the living room, apparently he still has flashbacks from whatever trauma caused him to be afraid of this toy.
I helped Buckaroo forget about the stick + string + feathers by using the laser pointer, please bear in mind this cat is going to be FOURTEEN in 2 months (April 1), to get him jump nearly four feet up the wall, repeatedly for 5 minutes or so.
I have the BEST cats.
