i look beyond the empty cross, forgetting what my life has cost...
sometimes we, as human beings, are stupid.
especially when we don't realize what we're worth.
so instead we kill ourselves, or ruin ourselves with drugs or alcohol.
or give ourselves away to people who don't deserve us.
or decide that we've made it on our own, and pride is our only companion.
and in those moments, i feel sorry for Jesus.
cause, I mean... he's the one who died. and for some reason we just keep nailing him some more.
i'm sorry we suck. hope we can be better. amen.
