School's OUT for SUMMER!
I don't have to take any summer courses so I can finally take a break!!!!!
Goals:
Work a lot and pay off debt.
LOSE WEIGHT! I finally have time for the gym!
Read tons of books for leisure!
Work on my portfolio, get a head start.
Save money for a new camera.
I'm so excited because today I bought a me a new tv. It is used so I got it for cheap from someone selling it. But it was needed! I was still using an ancient TV that me and Adam had in our room when we were little. He used the same TV the whole time he lived here and then I took it over. haha I don't use it much so I didn't really mind until I bought a DVD player so I could watch movies in my room and I couldn't hook it up to the old TV! hahahaha They didn't really make TV's compatible for such things back then. I didn't even think about that. So, I got a decent used TV today for 40 dollars! It's nicer than a shitty cheap new one from the store. So, I got something new for once! Whoo hoo
So, I really want a new digital camera and that is the next thing I am saving for. Too bad I'm constantly paying bills... damn credit cards get you in trouble. Never again! My relationship with credit cards is through as soon as I pay off my debt! Through I say! Done for! hehe My current digital camera is being held together by a band-aid because I broke it during some party nonsense I'm sure... I don't really remember. I think I broke it the night I broke my car. But I am not comfortable talking about that night.
I feel so great about all my work I did this semester! And it is OVER OVER OVER! How exciting! I am going to fill my summer with dog walks, parks, movie watching, book reading, gym time, all the things I never have time for! I am also hoping to get more involved at church so I requested not to work on Sundays. I'd like to go to church in the mornings with my family and then attend the college age bible study in the evening. It's time to get closer to God and also meet some new people. I hope I like it. I won't be able to attend for a few weeks when my new availability will start. I'll keep you posted.
Anything else new?? Hmm... well yesterday Brody and I attended Careers on Wheels, a program where you go to St. Louis Public Elementary schools and talk to them about your job. So, I get to bring my Brody and talk about him and Happy Tails. It was a lot of fun and the kids were real cute. I was so proud of Brody. He was so gentle with the kids and let everyone pet him. He is so much better around a bunch of kids than other dogs. He likes most dogs, I just never know when he will do his defensive act on the leash and snap at another dog. Geez, I get so mad when he does that!!!! So mad! But I love him no matter what haha.
Saturday, me and Henry and some people from work (and their dogs) are going to Bark in the Park a Humane Society fundraiser in Forest Park! It sounds like so much fun. I just hope it will be great weather! It's been raining a lot this week. I really want to bring Brody, but with so many other dogs around on a leash I don't want to be constantly yelling at him for being crazy! So, I'm going to bring little Henry. At least if he gets out of line I can always just pick him up. Well, I can't wait! I love Forest Park so much! It's one of my favorite places to go. So, many great places there and beautiful scenery! So, I'm sure I'll have fun no matter what. I'll try to write more now that I HAVE TIME! Oh, that is so nice to think about.
