Happy birthday to me!

Thank you to all who sent me birthday wishes yesterday. Wait, that would only be Kirsten. So fuck the rest of you.

Friday after work me and Kristen went to Happy Hour at Rio. It was fun indeedy. We started off the night with margarita's on the rocks. I had 2 of those, then a Grey Goose and tonic with lemon, then a shot of tequila. We left around 9pm, because she had to meet up with her man, and I had to meet up with mine. Once I met up with Ryan we just drank some beers, and took some bong hits, then passed out.

Bright and early Saturday morning, me and Ryan woke up. He went to NJ for a drag race with Dave, and I headed home to gear up for the annual Susan G. Koman Race For The Cure. I went all by myself. Took the metro and all. I finished the race in 35 minutes! (it's a 3.5 mile race, 5k). I cannot wait to get my placing in the mail. Very fun and very emotional. It was a great cause. I've done it many times before, but I've never done it a) alone, and b) I've never ran it. Only walked. So ya, made my day wonderful! After I got home, had a half a bagel, and let my heart/legs rest, I went outside and unpacked my car from my VA Beach trip. LOL. Yes I know, I'm an unpacking slacker. Felt good to get it done though. Later on that day, my sister and I went to Loehmann's so she could buy me some things for my bday. I got 3 tops (A juicy tube, a cute orange tee that says in black letters on the front: Don't Ask The DJ To Play YMCA, and a pretty James Perse top). After that we headed to Celebrity Delly to eat lunch: Celebrity club on 7 grain with fries. YUM. That night she and I worked on my dads Father's Day gift. The pictures for it came out great! Oh wait, I probably didn't tell you guys what we are doing: We did a photoshoot of eachother, each picture wearing a significant piece of my mother's old jewelry. We are putting all the pictures in a collage-frame. He is going to LOVE it. So ya, we did the photoshoot, now we just need to get them printed, find a frame, and make it purdy! By the end of the day, like around 9pm, I was EXHAUSTED. I passed out by 9:30pm hahahaa. I'm such a geek.

Sunday was my birthday! I think this birthday is the best so far. I actually felt older, and I felt so happy to be 23 for some reason. The entire day I was on top of the world. I feel so comfortable in my skin now, it's such a great feeling. It was so hot yesterday too! 89 degrees! My sister and I went to Target in the morning. I needed to get a black strapless bra for my dress. She bought me the bra, and also a purdy bikini for my birthday. After Target I hung with Ryan for a bit. Before he left to go skate and I left to go chillax before my birthday dinner, he and I hit up 7-11 for slurpees. YUM. I havn't had a fucking slurpee in SO fucking long. It was wonderful. Ryan picked me up at 8pm for our special birthday dinner. I wore my dress (black satin, with lace straps, and lace detail all over, seethrough lace on sides, you'll see pix soon, they are on my sisters digital camera and she still has to upload them), my sex shoes, and my moms old vintage diamond jewelry. I paired it all up with my magenta clutch from Banana, and I swear I looked like I was going to the Grammy's. It was dope. We got to Filomena's on time, and what can I say, dinner was absolutely delicious. We started off with each getting a glass of merlot. We each had a salad, me the Caesar, and him the Mesclun Field Greens. We also shared the Mozzarella in Carrozza as an appetizer. For our entrees, I got the Linguini Cardinale, and he got the Ravioli di Chiacchieri. See the menu here http://www.filomenadc.com/menu_dinner.html to see what these meals consist of. Pure heaven. We ended the night with their complimentary bottles of Zambuca and Amaretto. It was divine. We slept very well lastnight. That's all I gotta say about that.

OK, I'm hungry. I'm off for my lunchbreak now. Holla!

ps- When I get back from lunch I'm going to post pictures from the race.
