(no subject)
it makes me really sad when i feel like i have nothing interesting to write about so here are just the bits and pieces of my life that are worth writing about.
- i love spanish IV. granted, i am taking it at acc, but it's whatev. i love the professor and i love the course. it's pretty easy and it moves quickly because the professor is a cool guy. also, i finally feel like i'm grasping the language. i'm still scared of it, but i gain more and more confidence every day. i like spanish IV because it's less grammer and shit and more reading, writing, and culture. right up my alley.
- i hate taking spanish with peter. we're both so competitive and i obviously make much better grades than he does, and he makes me feel like shit because of it. it makes me feel guilty, but i am not willing to sacrifice my integrity and make lesser grades to make him look and feel smarter. he's not worth it. and this is going to sound really conceited, but doing this with him makes me wonder if i will ever find someone that, if they can't keep up with me intellectually, will be ok with it. because peter obviously isn't. we fight almost everyday and i honestly hope that i can live my life with someone who values me for who and what i am and doesn't want me to change to make him feel better about himself.
- went to peter's soccer tournament this weekend. that was fun. got to see him play for real. however, it was hot, humid, i got sunburned, and being around him and his friends made me feel like a groupie. not cool. i am nobody's groupie.
- i can't wait to go back to school. i miss campus life and want to be back where there are people other than peter to be around. i am so excited about living with athena. this is going to be such a better year.
- peter's talking to brittany again. but they're "just friends." right.... that girl has no idea how to be friends with a boy. i'm sorry, but friends does not include his penis in your mouth.
- i actually have time to read this summer. it's so nice. my favorite book that i have read was siddartha. really good. i definately recommend it.
ok, well that's it for now. have to go study for a spanish quiz.
