Doughnuts
Guess what I had for lunch today? The sum total of what one dollar can get me. Or seventy-five cents, because the only thing for a dollar is a soda. Yep, chocolate doughnuts. While I will admit to needing the chocolate, I certainly don't need the fat, and I don't need the price. The prices at this school are PISSING me off! $3.50 for a box of orange chicken and rice. $1.00 for a 12-ounce can of soda, raised from the $0.75 it was earlier this year. WTF?!?! This is Irvine, for goodness's sake! It's not supposed to be this expensive when they're supposed to be able to pay for it! Or maybe the thing is that because it IS Irvine, the school knows that they can get away with charging gratuitiously high amounts for food. Blah.
SOMETHING ON A HAPPY NOTE!!
I went to FALLBROOK yesterday! Yess, preciouss, I did! It was so random. My dad woke me up at a quarter till noon and said, "I'm going to Fallbrook in a half an hour. Wanna come?" "Hell yes!" was my response, which was immediately followed by the fastest I've ever gotten ready to leave. A half hour for showering and everything. Wow. :D
I goted to see my grandparents, and then I got to see Bethany! W00t!! And then, I found out that she has an LJ too! And I didn't coerce her into getting one either. Trippy, eh? :D She is Kailita. Yes, yes precious. FURTHER WOOTAGE!!
