There's been some discussion among my Friday gaming group that Paizo is stepping up (for better or for worse) as the new Wizards of the Coast.

Looks like they might be aiming at being the next GenCon too.

I'm interested to see how this turns out for them. I'd like to go, actually, but I don't think I'll be able to make it.
