Open letter to Joe Mad, Frank Miller, et all:
Please take your apathy/disrespect/whatever it is out of my comic books.
If you apparently don't like writing Batman (Miller), or would rather be designing video game characters instead of committing to 12 issues of The Ultimates and then cutting it down to 5 (Madureria), or sign up to write something and then cock-block the entire series by not doing anything once the contract is signed (Ellis), then just get the fuck out. Seriously. No one is forcing you to "commit" to these jobs. Go do whatever it is you really want to do, and make room for people like the late Michael Turner, who love comics and actually WANT to work on these assignments.
If you really are hard up for cash, and sign up for something you don't want to do, at least be respectful and put out a decent story or art or whatever in a timely manner instead of just shitting all over the place and cashing your paycheck at the end of the day.
