[He looks back over where he shadow-stepped]
I wonder...can you do it again?

Huh? Of course I can. I guess it's more like I'm not sure how it works, but I know how to do it.

[He goes over to the pottery, the owner giving him a look like wtf are you doing?]

[He sighs and scratches his head.] Look, it doesn't have to be pottery. It could be anything, like... I don't know. A rubber ball, maybe. Or a person. Or something else that isn't breakable.

[He waits until what seems like the last minute to make a move. What he was really doing, however, was waiting for the shadows to converge. The instant they did, he put a foot out onto the shadows, stopping them in mid-air.]
