i'm getting really frustrated by digital photography and how i always seem to fail at it.  i don't understand why it is so hard to get the picture that prints out on the printer to look like the one on your screen.  i can't handle gammas, mainly because i do not understand it.  all i want is film and the smell of the darkroom and that exciting few seconds right when you slip that blank piece of paper into the developer. i want someone to teach me everything about film.  i can't teach myself, i need someone to show me.  having a ten minute demo on color correction in photoshop is not enough.  i hate going to ucf. i should have gone to daytona. its too late now but going to a class there just shoves it in my face how good they all are and how much equipment they have right at their fingertips.
i am getting so angry.
i am tired of having to set aside 6 hours to sit in front of a computer and print out photo after photo just to get rid of banding, or lines, or too much red, or too much dark.
someone teach me or i'm going to go insane and sell my digital camera and never shoot photos ever again.
