Greatest day ever....in Maine.

Well, it appears that all my bitching and moaning has finally paid off because I got a couple days off.

I had Friday off because it was the day after the show opened.  This worked out really well because the opening night party was Thursday around 11pm (when the show was over) and then there was the after party at Red Brick house aka party central.   I went to both, handed my keys over to my roommate and had a grand old time.  The party had me up pretty late…like 4am and I needed the day off to recuperate.

Saturday we had work and we cleaned up the shop and set up the racks for the new show.  Now, the designer isn’t starting fittings until Tuesday so there’s not really anything else for us to do so I’m also getting Sunday and Monday off.  Dayum!    Now, this is probably going to be suck when we’re staying late on Thursday to finish alterations for the photo call on Friday, but I’m not thinking about that right now. I spent Sunday lounging around watching movies and did a little shopping for the Pimps and Hoes party later that night.  Oh yes, they theme the parties around here.  Awesome, right?  I went as a pimp with my roommate and my friend Brittany as my hoes.  We left around 11:30pm for the party and by midnight things were in full swing.  Little did we know that this party was the start of the best day so far in Maine.  We danced and had an awesome time.   We got back home around 3:30ish, watched some Scrubs and went to bed.  The next morning we were up around 10am and gathering the troops for a day at the beach.

Our activities were endless!!  We tried swimming in the very cold water, we took a walk, I climbed a MOUNTAIN, we found the smallest crab ever, we read trashy tabloids, we built a sandcastle, we buried Ben in the sand and then turned him into a mermaid just like Joey on Friends, we played football and we had oh so much fun.

Then we went home and showered and went to Colin's house for dinner.  Good freakin' times. I wish everyday here could be like that, but this is summer stock and there is work to be done.

Speaking of which, I need to get back in the shop.  I miss you all dearly.  Muah!

beach, msmt, good times
