I have been home for a week and I am really enjoying being back.
Justin and I had a nice game filled Christmas at his parents. We stopped at a game store on the way to pick up Settlers for his brothers Christmas present, while we were there we picked up a fun game called Killer Bunnies.
I made him open his first present as soon as we got there because it was 2 new Board games, Power Grid and Puerto Rico. I love to buy Justin games and we now have quite a nice collection.
Killer Bunnies is a really fun game with a nice evil streak, in the end it is all chance. Power Grid I was really happy with because I just read a review on Amazon and went for it, turned out to be a fantastic game with quite a lot of strategy involved, Puerto Rico we loved when we played it with the Dooms a long time ago and Justin thought about buying it in the game store for himself, he was really happy to get it for Christmas, We played it a lot and of course it was great.
Apart from the traditional board games we also played a lot of Rock Band and the Boys played the Wii with their Wii guns.
Justin drove me to the Airport on the 28th in a nice big snow storm, we drove past many cars off the road and saw the guy behind us spin out on the highway, quite scary but we got there, and my flight went on time.
Dad picked me up in Belfast on the 29th and we drove home to surprise my Mummy on her 60th birthday. Dad scouted out where she was and then I just strolled in to the kitchen and said " HI Mum, Whats up?" She was so surprised it was fun. They were having a big party that night so everything was hectic, I went to sleep for a few hours so that I wouldn't be zapped at the Party. It was really nice about 3/4 of the guests knew I was coming and Mum was surprised everyone had been able to keep the secret so well.
We had a great evening and I got to spend a little time with some of my family, Corinne, Chris, Daniel, Brenda, MIchael, Nana, Mummy and Daddy. Unfortunately Benjie, Rebecca, Laura, Al, Belle, Kate and Justin couldn't come and were missed
