Here are the rules:
• Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
• People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
• At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
Hmm, trying to think of eight things.
1. I still have 2 baby teeth, the adult ones are missing and 2 teeth that I haven't got at all (no gaps, just not there). I had a small gap in my front teeth that I had closed when I was about 18 or so. All of this led me to be very conscious of my smile and most of my posed pictures (before the age of 18) I have my mouth closed in.
2. I hate it when people tell me I sound very American. I honestly don't think I do, my accent has never been really thick N. Irish like a lot of my friends and now when I go home people tell me that I have a twang, I know I have picked it up a little but I really think people have forgotten how I talked anyway.
3. When I am introduced to someone and tell them I am from Northern Ireland I hate them asking are you Catholic or Protestant then? I actually am not religious and I haven't quite worked out how to answer them yet (I usually say neither). Similar questions - What side are you on? and assuming that I support the IRA.
4. On a lighter note, I secretly love cheesy pop music. I like to sing and bop around to it.
5. I love most movies and will watch them over and over again, but usually after the first time i will do other tasks while watching - like my sewing yay!.
6. I miss working at camp. It was one of the best jobs I have ever had and it was so much fun. I yearn for a simple unconnected outdoorsy life sometimes.
7. I really wish more of my friends live journaled it is so nice to know what is going on in my friends lives and I miss them. I am always open to new friends!
8. I have done very little art work in the last 2 years due to my living situation, i am now in the middle of 2 projects in my new sewing room.
That was pretty tough and I apologise for the Norn Irish rant.
