I signed up to work extra hours in the computer labs because I'm broke and need the money, but now that my semester is officially over I have no work to do. So, after bumming around the internet and finding more articles for my undergrad research project I've decided to update my journal again. I've found quite a few good articles for my project and have printed them all out so I can read them on the looong plan ride to New Zealand. I've also been updating my Ipod for the trip, I still don't even have it half full, I have almost 8 gigs, which is already more music than I'll probably listen to. I've even ripped a lot of my cds and put them on my Ipod, it's kinda nice not to have to lug around a case full of cds anymore. I also went shopping to get a few things I needed for the trip, like snacks, and cute little travel containers. I'm reeeeally excited to go, but a little apprehensive about spending that much time with Sean's parents. I really like them and we get along well, it's just, I still feel like I have to really try to impress them and like I have to be on my guard. Don't even get me started about my fears about how meals are going to go. Other then that though I think it will be a great trip and we will be doing a lot of fun activities, at least we can all agree on that.

Best Buy has been crazy busy and I work a ton of hours this week. At least I got off Christmas eve, but not the day before, so me and Sean have to drive to Madison right when I'm done with work at 3:30, then Saturday it's off to Appleton to see Jeff's family briefly, then my mom's family, then Sean's (my mom's Sean's) family. Sunday is my dad's family, then it's back to La Crosse to work on Monday, pack on Tuesday and leave on Wednesday, whew!
