my summer so far
So one of my favorite days so far this summer was father's day. Sean's parents came up and we went canoeing around goose island and did a little swimming too. I saw snakes which I thought were cool, and I saw a spider and it freaked me out. Then my dad came and we went out to dinner. I bought him Civilization III and he really liked it so that was good. It's been really hot the past couple days so we have our air on, it's nice in the living room so that's where everyone hangs out. Sean just bought LOTR: Third Age, so we've both been playing that in our freetime, it's a pretty awesome game, and for only $16 at Wal-Mart it's definately worth it.
Things at Best Buy have been going pretty well. We bought a 32" flat screen tv, it's pretty sweet. We are doing a contest right now too to see who can get the most magazines and replacement plans, and so far I'm winning, so yay! Ellen got a job at Best Buy too, except the one in Milwaukee, yay again! Except I really miss her TONS and she needs to come visit me! I might have aleady mentioned this, but I'm going up to my cottage for the week of the 4th, but I'll be in Madison Saturday night to see the fireworks there.
Another of my favorite days was when me and Sean went for a walk downtown and did a little shopping and then we ended up eating dinner at Fayze's and hanging out by the river for a while and then we went to the Pearl and got some ice cream and I got one of those giant lollipops that I still haven't finished. I went to the dentist and found out I have four cavities, so that lollipop is not looking very good to me at the moment. Sean's friend Jake is coming up tonight which is cool, I just ordered some pizza cuz I'm starving and I have a work meeting at 7am tomorrow morning, work meetings suck. So that's all for now I guess.
