Commentary: More Human!Sasuke before he befriend Sakura. Another deleted scene centered on Sasuke. The format is questionable because I barely polished the scene before I decidedto discard it. Reason? Nothing important really happened. Just some SasuKarin platonic (from Sasuke's part) and more KarinxFugaku interactions. What I like about this event is that I get to show that Karin is actually a decent character. And of course, I get to show what Sasuke thought about the townspeople.

Japan, 1942
Uchiha Manor,A few weeks later, Morning
“Ohayou gozaimasu, Sasuke-sama!”
“Sasuke-sama, Karin-sama is waiting for you in the tea room.”
“Aa…”
“Sasuke-sama, good morning! I’m sorry that my visits are always uninvited!”
“Hn, it’s fine.” She’s his fiancée. She could visit whenever she wants.
“This town is so beautiful”
“I’m glad you find it delightful.”
“This must be because of the Uchihas. Your family must have done so much for this town.”
Fugaku, “Thank you for your kind words, Karin,”
“Fugaku-sama, you startled me!”
“You should call me uncle, Karin, we are no strangers anymore.”
“Okay, Fugaku-jisama!”
Fugaku noded. “How about Sasuke walks you around? You will do that won’t you, Sasuke?”
“Of course, Father.” Sasuke stood up. “Let’s go, Karin.”
Out the house.
“I am sorry for my intrusion… I know you should have been studying.”
“It’s fine.”
People are bowing.
“… admirable.”
“Hn?”
“Yes. Everywhere you go, people are bowing to you. They must really respected the Uchihas.”
Sasuke chuckled.
“Was there something funny?”
“Hn… all the things they did. That’s just an obligation.”
“Eh?”
“… its nothing.”
Otou-sama, why are they bowing to us?
Don’t look at them, Sasuke. The bowed because you have power.
Don’t befriend them. They are lower than you.
Don’t trust them. Most of them would be happy to topple you down the top.
Don’t give your heart to anyone. Karin is your perfect match. She’s perfect for the business.
Everyone of them… they’re fakes. My father, the servants, the civilians… but…
