Saturday “day” consisted of the odd chore here or there. The lovely voice of John Barrowman accompanied me while I cleaned out bird feeders, scrubbed baseboards, mopped floors, did laundry, and emptied out the dishwasher. After eating a bowl of cereal for dinner, I decided to give my dog Angel a bath. Shampooed and conditioned, Angel smelled and looked a heck of a lot better. While watching the rest of Pride and Prejudice, he was groomed and pampered.
Around 9pm, I decided to play my game and did not get off until 4 the next morning. Ugh. I showered, grabbed some breakfast, and was about to head off to bed when I remembered that a new Doctor Who was ready to be watched.
Doctor Who has never disappointed me. The acting, writing, filming, lighting, and music (oh, how I love the music) are brilliant. Donna grows on me with every episode and once again, David Tennant blows me away with his acting. Alex Kingston is a very strong actor and was the prefect choice for River.
From the beginning of episode 7, I realized that the people were “saved” to the computer so that was not a big shock to me. I was heartbroken for Donna and the Doctor. The look on the Doctor face….so close yet so far away from stopping her. River’s strength, conviction, and ability to love a person fully (including their faults/history) is what drew the Doctor to her I am sure. I will watch the confidential tonight.
I took a 3-hour nap and finished my laundry. Tonight I get to fold it all! Yuck. My Sunday afternoon was unspectacular. I did see Atonement later that night. The cinematography…..astounding. I rate it 4.8 out of 5 hankies.
I’ve been playing around with my mood themes and found some really nice animated Doctor Who ones. I have 2 3 of them uploaded and need to work on the third fourth. A very nice LJ user sent me her personal mood theme and I just need to create the theme through LJ.
