financial hemorhaging

what was once my $1300 economical summer beach vacation for my daughter has turned into a $2000+ emotional rollercoaster. All of this because a stupid hurricane. Our destination is about to be wiped out and I've spent the last 3 days trying to put together a backup plan. I've used all the money I don't have and all the money I will not have the next 3 months trying to fix what a weather system destroyed. From the hotel saying they will transfer reservations to the other destination along with the deposit, falling through with those promises and then a mad rush to change airline tickets and to find a place to sleep for the week. I almost caved last night and nearly broke down crying from the frustration of going thru all of this only to disappoint my daughter. Wasn't going to let that happen. After all, it's only money. Money comes and goes, but memories last forever.

So, Sammy Hagaar, line up the shots of tequila, the squid and I are coming to Cabo.

Cancun, you and your Hurricane Dean can kiss my broke white ass. Hope the cleanup is fun. lol
