Hey lj people. I know, I never update but that's just how it's going to be. Everything has been going great. School let out some time ago and I decided to give my brain a rest and not take any classes this summer. Now, 6 weeks later I can already feel myself getting dumber. Oh well, I'm tan and really enjoying the downtime since I installed some outside speakers and the pool is crystal clear.
The squid is doing good. She is very tall and looks a lot older than her 11 year old birth certificate says. She stayed with me last week since her school is out and finished her stay with a steak and shrimp dinner poolside on Saturday night.
Soon I will post some before and after pics of the backyard. It used to be a miserable, wet, nasty wreck before Robbin and I busted our asses getting it in order. Now with the elephant ears, river rock, banana trees and yucca, it's turning into an oasis. We still have a huge flagstone path project to finish up and then we'll be done for the summer and be able to enjoy the outside for good.
and of course, this wouldn't be an lj entry without some sort of picture.
