A/N: Hi all, some of you might remember me. I haven't posted in a while. So, besides having a new story that I'd like to share (and I'll talk a bit more about that in a bit), I'd like to ask you all a question

Yeah I received weird comments in my video post about dolls or something. The comments don't show up unless you check them out in your "lj recieved messages" tab.

It was really odd. I think we should just ignore it and not click their links.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I felt really bothered, so I decided to just delete it and empty the trash in my email account. Thanks for telling me about your experience.

Perhaps I'm paranoid, but has anyone else received a notification that one of their postings for this group received a comment by someone named "bradleydyl"?

Yes. It's just a spambot, it's nothing to worry about. The "strange characters" in the subject line are Russian.

There are a lot of spambots commenting on livejournal posts right now. The comments can't hurt you unless you're stupid enough to click on any of the links in the comments, though. Just delete any obviously spammy comments that show up on your posts and you'll be fine.

That makes a lot of sense, and now I am really glad that I didn't open it. I think it's the first time I've run into this spambot thing. Thank you very much for telling me about them. You've taken a load off my mind!
