Greetings from Fritch.
After work, I was picked up by the folks. We stopped to eat at Ruby Tequila in Amarillo. Never ate there before, and that makes me sad. It's a Mexican-style bar and grill with a very lively atmosphere. It's the perfect place to go with a large group of people because that's what it will take to drown out all the other large groups of people. Awesome foods. And by grill, I mean actual mesquite grill. The flavor was so wonderful, and the flesh meats so juicy.
And that's pretty much the highlight of my day. Normal day at work, nothing spectacular on the ride to Fritch.
Well, that's a lie. I read about a volcano that erupted in Russia not too long back that shot up a good bit of ash in the air, and after a short while, some of that ash was carried over to this area, and it has affected the West Texas sunset so that there's a deep purple hue in the horizon. I saw that on the way up here. It was stunning. I wish I had thought of getting a picture snapped of it. Perhaps this weekend, I might be able to, though it'll be from the crappy camera on the Blackberry.
