HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Grey's Anatomy makes me so sad. I can't believe Dr. Shepard chose Addison instead of Meredith. Addison? Really? He took the easy way out and it SUCKS. Look at Dr. Burke - he took care of Christina. UGH... What are you thinking, McDreamy? Even so, I hope Izzie decides to work with Addison. It'll be good for her career. And I hope Meredith finally realizes that George has a crush on her. If she can't be with McDreamy, she should be with George. He'd be good to her. And I hope Alex passes his test... He's a good doctor, even if he is a jerk sometimes.
Okay, enough of that. Grey's Anatomy really gets me going...
I went to Boo at the Zoo last night to volunteer. I was supposed to meet my group at the bus stop at 2:30, but I kind of forgot, so I had to get to the metro and figure out how to get to the zoo all by myself. I was kinda scared because I'm REALLY directionally challenged... I don't know how I made it to the zoo. I didn't even get on the wrong train. GO ME! But, yeah, I was initially pretty cynical about the whole volunteer thing... I'm a pretty cynical person, and I'm really not very into community service. But it was actually pretty fun... besides the fact that I was handing out apples and what kid wants an apple for Halloween? They were pretty good, though - I ate some. The little kids were SO cute in their costumes. I really had a good time. It was FREEZING, though! It made me feel pretty good about myself... even though I know I didn't make much of a difference. I still felt like I actually did something important.
In other news, my tongue is much better. It's almost completely healed. Meredith and I have to go get a smaller barbell sometime soon... I keep biting this one now that my tongue isn't swollen anymore. And Bari says that the metal balls will cause bone loss in my teeth, so I have to get acrylic balls. I want gReEN - my favorite color! I want sparkles, too.
SaBu - I know you're going through a tough time right now, but everything's gonna be all right. You know I'm here for you, NO MATTER WHAT! You're my best friend and I could not ask for more. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!
And Meredith is the best roommate eVeR! We're going to see Jarhead at the Hoff tomorrow night. (It reminds me of Scott...) It's gonna be fun. It looks like a gReAT movie!
