(no subject)
Well, I'm at College Park. I'm officially a Terp. It's cool... I don't LOVE it yet, but I really like it and I think I'm gonna grow to LOVE it. It's just gonna take time. I keep thinking that it's one big party and I'll be going home when it ends, but this is my home now. I dunno... it's weird. But I really do like it here. It's great not having any parents and coming in whenever I want. It's great meeting new people and experiencing new things and just exploring unknown territory. For those of you who are still in high school... College is scary, I'm not gonna lie. But once you get here, you'll like it... It's gonna take some getting used to, but it's so awesome. I love having new responsibilities. haha, I'm weird, I know. But yeah, college is fun stuff.
The first night I was a party pooper and I just kinda chilled in my room and got everything organized, which was not an easy task. Last night, I was out for a long time, but I didn't really GO anywhere. I was by Knox and frat row and everything, but I didn't really go to a party or anything... I just walked and explored with my new friends. After I dragged Tricia out of the middle of the street, of course. haha, GOOD TIMES! But yeah... Tonight, I went with Randy and Tricia to frat row to some party. All they had was a keg and it was really lite beer, but I just don't like beer... So Randy and I went to look for Lauren. We found her and went to a couple more parties. We didn't drink much at all... We just kind of met people. I had an apple shooter and let me just say, that shit is AWESOME. I reccommend it to everybody haha. So Lauren is gonna hook me up with info about her sorority. I always said I wouldn't join one, but she said they're really chill... I figure it can't hurt to just check it out, ya know?
Anyway, more later. Classes don't start until Wednesday, so it's just one big party until then pretty much. Hell yeah!! haha
