Paean to the Loas of the Interwebs
Someone somewhere, oh Internets, Dear Flist, NEEDS to teach me the icon mojo. Because first there was this. An ongoing hymn to the greatness that was the LoSH. Where the author digs deep and finds the inner fangirl for every. legionnaire. evar.
And despite the fact that I tried to ignore that Legion didn't actually stop after the Five Year Gap.(If you don't know what that is, don't worry. ) Which scarred me so bad I've imostly ignored all the reboots. I AM RIGHT THERE WITH HIM.
There was a time when you could actually see the heros in the X-Men through the angst, when the Titans were more Titan than Teen and more a family than a group of capes and the DCU Overlords didn't have the team fixed in it's killsights. During this time if you wanted me to spend my money all you had to do was put X-Men, Titans or Legion of Super Heroes on the cover and the Ash shoved bitches out of the way to get to the register.
Thus the tragedy that I don't have any LoSH icons. 'Cuz this? Deserves it. If you scroll down half the page you'll see Val Armorr 'putting out the trash' Val. Armorr. Ladies and Gentlemen, who was a badass when the Goddam Batman was still useing Bat Bolos and saying "Chum"
I fail to find a decent reason why I don't already have an icon of that last panel. I *need* an icon of the Kid saying, "There will be demerits." don't you think?
