(no subject)
Life has been too busy to blog lately honestly but it kind of makes me sad to see Live journal decrease in usage while Facebook keeps increasing. I'm not trying to sound like an elitist or intellectual or any crap like that it just seems that this site was more about general blogging while Facebook seems more about self obsession. Obviously I have a Facebook as well so I am not trying to make fun of its users and it definitely has it's benefits all the same I like this site better.
I had a novel concept recently about an alien society that valued information more then attention and how rather then everyone talking about them selves more often then not, you would have people trying to listen to what other people had to say. Rather then people waiting for their chance to speak it would almost be a choir to get others to talk. I wonder how different the world would be and if they came here they would have a field day with all the inane crap people talk about in regards to themselves.
Once again I realize it is kind of contradictory to put a somewhat rant about people being too self concerned on a personal blog but all the same it's something I've been thinking about, ha =)
