I started writing another story again and am pretty excited about it. I haven't finished the sleepless story I started working on yet but plan to get back into while I work on this story as well. I think writing between the two may keep the creative juices flowing while helping to avoid getting burnt out from writing on either. In actuality I have a few stories and scripts floating around I need to work on and or finish but for the time being I think these two are the projects on hand. Almost done with the Dualist, I can't believe how long it has taken me to work on this short film but all the same I am excited that the end is in sight. Depending on how all things go I may need to rethink my plan of attack for breaking into the film industry but in either case I need to make sure the hitman is done at a much faster pace. I have learned so much from making this one film the most of all I learned that I have a lot more to learn.
here is a sample paragraph of the new story, the working (but not likely to be the final) title is
July 19th 2011
Brenda was pacing back and fourth in the green room, now only 30 minutes shy of the most important interview in the history of mankind. That statement was a bold one to make; it was one that many others have been pre-labeling this interview with since it was announced and one that was wholly agreed upon as an inarguable fact. When it was first announced Brenda felt that whoever the unlucky sot was that would be stuck with it was about the unluckiest person alive, I mean sure it would make that person the most famous person in existence and be an unparallel compliment to their skills as a journalist, but it would also give them an impossible standard to live up to. When word came down that she was that unlucky sot of course her first reaction was disbelieve. She thought it was some prank, a silly defensive reaction in retrospect but a fact all the same. All in told a lot of different reactions went through her head before she settled on one course of action. Which was in the end it didn’t matter why she was chosen to give this interview, be it a gift or a punishment, it only mattered that she was, and she was going to make the most of it. After all, she was just given the opportunity to interview God.
Brenda was reading and rereading her questions again, this was more of a nervous reaction then any sort of useful preparation technique to be honest. In actuality she has probably read and reread these questions over a hundred times by now, but she felt like she needed to reread them again, at least this one more time. She was after all only allowed to ask five questions. These questions could be as vague or specific as she wanted them to be but the number could only be five.
