I have decided that I am going to get a pet lobster. Because they can live forever and continue to grow. It's like getting a dog with no worries of heart break. Here is the deal though because it lives forever it has to have a good ass name. I am up for suggestions but right now I am thinking Namor. I would have the toughest Lobster ever

I agree, lobsters are gross when alive.

Once boiled, roasted, baked or grilled they are fantastic.

While they may be gross they can live forever and grow to be huge. Therefore I think that when it comes to Lobsters use this simple formula

Immortal + Continues to Grow= Awesome > Gross + a Little Pinchy

More reasons not to get a lobster:

A: They are not immortal; they live to about 100 years. When they die, I bet they smell like old dead fish-bugs.

B: "A male lobster is called a cock" -- look it up. Because of this, I would name him DICK.

It is actually a current argument amongst scientist because there body does not age and deteriorate. Or as they like to say is devoid of Senescence. So in Theory if it had near perfect living conditions it could live forever. They just always die of disease and or predators before they ever really get to that point. In theory there could be a school bus size lobster on the bottom of the ocean that is old as shit. I plan to contribute to the study and have a giant awesome lobster in the process.
