нигде нет ничего о музыкантах, но я нашла о гитаристе самое главное, потому что я сомневалась или это один и тот же Brian Naughton ..
теперь я знаю ДА это он и он играет со своим сыном и братом - до сих пор мочит рок !!

Naughtones has four members three of which are immediate family. They are Brian Naughton (Guitar/Vocals), his Son Corey Naughton (Guitar/Vocals), Brother James Naughton (Bass) and the adopted Pureric(Drums.) All of the Naughtones have years of live, studio and touring experience.

Rob Grill (R.I.P.)

слушая сейчас KEEPIN' ME DOWN - THE GRASS ROOTS, я теперь понимаю почему Брайан был с ними одновременно
у них же одинаковый стиль!! его любимый стиль!! век живи-век копай и раскапывай

Personal Biographies

Brian Naughton started playing guitar at age 12. His first group was a surf band called the Velaires in 1961. In 1965 he joined a national surf group called the Persuaders. In 1969 Brian formed his own group called Rock Candy. Rock Candy was signed to MGM by a man named Mike Curb. In 1970 he took the opportunity to join the International super group called the Grass Roots. Brian toured and did T.V. shows (American Bandstand, Sunny & Cher, and Kenny Rodgers) with the Grass Roots until 1972. After that he played for a short while with a group called Peanut Butter Conspiracy. PBC had a big hit called “It’s a Happening Thing.” Always in his pursuit of his own original Rock and Roll, Brian left PBC to form a group called Rockit in 1973. By 1976 RSO Records signed the band and renamed them Rockicks. The band was managed by Warren Entner who also managed Quiet Riot. Rockicks shared a rehearsal room with Quiet Riot and also did gigs with them. They played all over the country and locally at places like the Roxy, the Aquarius Theater and Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Rockicks had radio commercials and a lot going for them until a show opening for Blondie at Whiskey was given Tom Petty. This was Tom Petty’s big break show and the beginning of the end for the Rockicks. By this time his son Corey was about three Brian began his first day job at the age of thirty. Although Brian began earning his money behind the scenes as a stagehand he never stopped writing, singing and playing his guitar in little bands and local jam nights. Now Brian’s life is all about the Naughtones and blessing the world with his amazing skills.

Corey Naughton was born into a musical life. His father Brian was a professional musician and Corey was drawn to music instantly. At 2 Years Corey got his first drum set as drums were his first love. Then at age seven Corey got his first acoustic guitar. It was around this time that Corey’s father started to show Corey how to sing and play guitar as well as how to harmonize and write songs. At age 12 Corey got his first electric guitar and started his own group as a singer songwriter call Overdrive. Then at age 15 started a group called No Bacon. No Bacon played at local coffee houses until they were old enough to play in local bars. By 1995 Corey had joined a group called Capital 2. Capital 2 played all over L.A. at places like the Whiskey, Roxy, Viper Room, Troubadour, Key Club, ect… The band was featured on L.A. radio station KROQ for their local show Zeke’s Backyard. Capital 2 was also featured on E TV with Cindy Margolis. In 1997 Corey Played with a group called Flood. With this band he flew to Portugal and played a local club and a 6000 person festival. Corey eventually left both groups in pursuit of his own visions of music. In 2004 Corey got the idea to form a band with his Pops and Uncle and from there the Naughtones were born.

James Naughton started playing bass when he was 12 years old. His first gig was on Stand Up Bass in Junior High School Orchestra. Then when he was 13 and Metal came around he switched to Electric Bass. James picked up a paper and got some lessons. His first teacher was a guy named Randy Rhodes. Randy was with Quiet Riot at the time and when he switched to Ozzy Osborne James started taking lessons with Rudy Sarzo. James first band was called White Heat. They played local gigs in L.A. at places like F.M. Station and. Then White Heat changed to Ninja and incorporated Karate outfits and choreographed fight sequences in their show. Ninja landed a full record deal with Rage International working with Dude McClain (Publisher) and Bob Wylde (Producer). Ninja cut an Album, shot a Video, and did Touring. They opened for bands like Ratt in Hollywood. In 198 the band broke up and James started band jumping. He played with groups like James Lugo (Dokken), Timothy Craig and I94 before becoming a Naughtone in 2004.
