I had an amazing
20th birthday, even if I did have to take two finals. My parents were wonderful. They took me out to eat yesterday between finals. They went really out for this birthday. My parents got me a David Yurman bracelet from Neiman Marcus. And not only that I got a new pair of Armani sunglasses and some money$$ :D
My friends were absolutely amazing. After my 7pm exam, I go over to the guys, and Atlee and James just load me up with presents. James got me a big stuffed penguin and little baby penguin. They are adorable. Atlee went ALL out, of course. He got me the COMPLETE series of Sex and the City! And not only that, he got me the first and second GuildWar games, or as we repectively call them the "White" and "Asian" versions. Now I have all 3! :D Naya made me mini-cheesecakes and got me these cool novelty notepads. And Cidnye went crazy with the baking. She got me a shirt with a penguin holding a martini glass, made me white chocolate strawberry and cheesecake truffles and made my birthday. And got me tirimisu from this awesome Italian restuarant. I have sooo much food. I left half of it at Atlee's and the other half at Cristy's. And today Ms. Cristy is taking me out for a pedicure! I'm so lucky and blessed to have such amazing and wonderful friends. The funny thing about my birthday is that it had a penguin/martini theme because Naya and Atlee got me the same martini giftbag. They were like well we saw the martini glass and thought of you. Lol, I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Oh well.
I know I shouldn't say this, but James is making it hard for me while I'm trying not to like him since we decided to just be friends. I mean first off, he dressed up in a suit for my birthday dinner and he gave me such an adorable gift and I really wasn't expecting that. But to me, it was special, and I know I'm a dork. But it was a thoughful gift.
