My first Pounders experience.....
Last night I decided to venture out of my apartment to what I like to call "fraternity and sorority ville" aka Pounders (or any other little pub-ish bar around UCF), but for me, lastnight Pounders was my destination.
I have to admit, getting in free and drinking free is a big plus when going out! So off to the bar we went. This wasn't just any ordinary bar, this was like a herd cattle to a tiny pond. As much as I wanted to flaunt my chest to the bartenders, I realized that at first I would scope out the scene and then deliver my method of attack. What I found was, tipping high at first not only gives you seniority over other cattle, it gives you the bartenders name/ a handshake/ a wink/ and a free shot!
Let the drinking begin.... but not before I turn around and see the Big Man On Campus, who by the way was looking right at me, he's gorgeous! That all went to shit though when Carly turned around with her mouth wide open as if the BMOC were Brad Pitt. haha
So we're drinkin, having a good time and all of a sudden I hear people saying my name, I turn around and see none other than Stephanie Caits and Jen Burke (two girls in my sorority at FAU) SO ironic! I was so excited and screamed like a giddy little school girl.
And then there was Sosh.... that's right S-O-S-H, a boy I had seen all night lingering in the crowd. A gorgeous man of about 6 feet with a beanie, glasses, a grey buttoned up shirt with sleeves rolled to three quarter length and a black shirt peaking out of the tiny V he had left open at the top. And suddenly, I grew balls and walked right up to this man and began our conversation.... and he is so typical of any guy I ever like (with the exception of a couple).... a music major, wants to own a production company, wants to live in LA, go with the flow, BMXer/Skater, tan, hot, and incredibly in debt.... dammit to hell all of the hot ones! He came back to the apartment and hung out for a little while.... left with my number... we'll see though. Oh thee of little faith.
The moral of my story is: Never underestimate the power of a blonde!
