A likelihood of confusion
I interviewed for Trademark Moot Court like two weeks ago. On Thursday morning, I found out that my friend Tracy got an invitation to join. I thought, "oh cool that means they must have e-mailed them out." So I check my e-mail and I didn't have anything. I would continue checking my e-mail like every hour the rest of that day. I couldn't believe that I didn't get an invitation. I interviewed last year but the prof said it was REALLY close and that I should try again. So I did exactly what she said and then no invitation? I was sulking all day Thursday and Friday. Around sometime I Saturday I finally decided that it was fine that I didn't make it.
Now, let's fast forward to today. I check my e-mail this morning and there it is, the invitation. I can't believe it took this long. I don't know if someone declined an invite and that opened up a spot or what but that doesn't matter. I think this might be one of the few times that I have gotten accepted to something after an interview in quite a long time. I wonder if the rest of the day will be this good.
