Iiiiiinteresting...I am definitely debating this.

I do have a question though. The muse I would most likely app happens to be an MPD, and he's the kind where one side is the total opposite of the other. One is kind and bouncy and happy while the other is mean and overall pretty unfriendly. Considering the housing is based on personality, what would you suggest for that? Somewhere in the middle maybe?

Or just Loki because he's the trickster one and the switching between personalities is kind of tricky...idk XD;;

Additionally, they have a third personality, but because of icons, I never wake him up. Due to this, I never add him to the app, just mention that he's there but will never wake. Are you cool with that, or shall I add all the details on him?

For most MPD characters there's usually one personality that is the "original" or the "main" personality and the others are offshoots, so for future reference for other people playing MPD characters, that "main" personality is the one that would be sorted.

Akito & Agito are kind of a special case though since the most base "original" personality is Lind and then depending on the canon point it changes whether Akito or Agito is the primary user of the body. Neither of them is really "main". One option would be to make them all separate playable characters, since they are different, functional, fully formed people, and you'd only be able to app one. I know that's pretty tough to have them go through though as they are essentially the same soul, so I'm not going to force that. If it's something you're willing to do, it's the easiest path to take, but not the only one ( ... )

Oh my god someone who knows AG *tries not to fangirl too hard aaaaaa*

Although I have to disagree on the base personality being Lind. The body is Akito's, the other two were either born or reborn into it. ANYWAY.

I'm...nooooot really comfortable separating them, as I've played a lone Agito before and he really did not function well without Akito. It's possible, but doesn't work really well. Vice versa would also be the same, most likely. Akito and Agito rely on each other too much.

The double personality and having them sorted separately though sounds perfect! I'm more than used to apps with the both of them, and the switching of Houses sounds interesting and could be fun to play with. I think I'd like to go with that.

Akgi is not a normal muse XD But I like the sound of this~ Definitely going to see about reserving and apping when they open.

Aaah yeah I actually play Ikki in a different game.

Yeah Lind's role is pretty weird, so that's a disagreement I can definitely accept hahah. It's been a bit since I canon reviewed the stuff specifically about him.

I also had a friend or two who played them separate and had a very weird and difficult time of it, so that's about what I'd have expected. If I were playing them I'd have a hard time doing that too. |D

So yes! If you do app, we'll accomodate these two using that second option then. I do hope to see you app! :)

Regarding the required HMD, how will that work? Will one be required to post just a receiving thing, or will there be a required feedback amount? I can get behind the former, but the latter not so much...

You'll just be required to make a comment to receive feedback. You don't have to give anyone feedback yourself if you don't want to.

Drive-by questions here about the required HMDs: Will they be locked to only current players, or will they be open to anyone passing by? Also, will people be able to leave feedback with anonymous comments, or will everyone be required to use a journal?

Hello there! I'm interesting in joining the game but I'm a bit confused about the posting format for the network community. Is there any chance that an example could be given to help it sink in?

Thank you! ♥

It should work pretty much the same way as other community-based games! You'd make a video, audio, or text post in the network just like your character was using a journal system (that allowed video and audio anyway). Other people can comment in any of those formats as well. You'd also be able to break into action.

So Selphie for example could make a post video recording herself showing off her powers. People could respond in video, voice, or text to that and her responses back could also be in any of those formats. If someone was playing Rinoa and she was Selphie's suitemate, she could respond in action with Rinoa popping over to see in person.

As far as the tags go, the entry would be tagged "selphie tilmitt, re: rinoa heartilly".

Just grabbing a post from another game that has a similar tag system, but it'd look basically like this minus the *day and #format tags. The first reply to that entry is actionspam. Hope this helps!

That makes perfect sense!

Also that thread between Ikki and Rin is a glorious trainwreck. :D

Glad I was able to help!

And thank you, everything they do tends to be.

I have a quick question regarding items arriving with characters. If a character stores items in their canon's equivalent of hammerspace, will those items be available to them in Asgard?

It depends on what you specifically mean by that. If pulling something out of somewhere it shouldn't fit is more of a power or a magic bag sort of thing, no. If it's something that logically shouldn't really fit anywhere on their person but which they can whip out of nowhere anyway (like larger weapons carried by a scantily-clad character), it'd count as being carried, so they could have it.

The example I was thinking of was Link from the Legend of Zelda series, why typically carries a large quantity of tools/items/weapons but doesn't appear to carry them on his person. He seems to just pull them out of nowhere.

Aaah, in that case, I think he would have any items (fairies in bottles and letters and whatnot) on him, and then the gear he has equipped. I'd consider it like another game's inventory system where god knows where that inventory IS, but they can only USE what they have equipped without going into that inventory. So potions and stuff are fine, but he can't show up carrying three swords, two shields, and a few changes of clothes.

Hi, I'm back with two more questions! (Hopefully you're not sick of me yet.)

1. Are there maids/cooks/etc. living in the Welcome Halls that would cook food or do chores for Travelers if requested, or are Travelers responsible for such things themselves?

2. In the future, you mentioned that characters will be able to find housing outside the Welcome Halls. Will characters be allowed to live outside their patron God's district (such as if a character whose God is Odin wanted to live in Heimdall's district)? If you don't want to answer this question right now because it's not applicable, I totally understand.

We are not sick of you at all! Questions are always a good thing, especially since we're just starting out.

1. Travellers are responsible for their own chores. Their rooms will be as messy as they leave them, and they have to make their own food. There are restaurants and whatnot throughout the city though, so if someone isn't any good at making their own food, they can get work and eat out a lot.

2. Yes! They'll be able to live anywhere in the city. We know a lot of characters are going to want to get some freedom by way of having their own place, or will want to move in with castmates, so that's fine. We're just holding off at first so people can build CR outside of said castmates. That's also why they'll have to work to pay for it if they want to move.
