[oh, hello. Meet one Keine, whose hair would be similar in color with Takane's - hers is a light blue mingled with silver, rather than Takane's plain silver.

So the Silver Princess would meet Silver... Half-beast.

In any case, Keine had been out here looking at the moon as well... but for entirely different reasons; she's worried about if she'll end up transforming, this very first full moon since her arrival. But since it's been up for quite a while, she's already calmed her nerves by convincing herself that it's alright - she won't have to go through that excruciating transformation for now.

Then she hears the wistful and bittersweet words of Takane's song...]

[and she'll stay silent, to fully experience the song, just a distance away when she finally moves close enough to spot the likewise silver-haired girl.]

[when Takane's done with singing the song twice, she just might hear Keine's gentle applause, from just a bit away]

[ it's hard to say when precisely Takane noticed another presence; by the time she turns her head, any surprise she might have harbored is long gone and she sports only a polite smile. ]

My gratitude for listening so graciously.

[so she's already been noticed far before the end... no matter! Keine will nod in reply, her usual gentle smile eased across her face.]

No, no. A good performance ought not to be interrupted, but rather appreciated in its entirety, no?

A performance is known only when there are others present to observe it.

[Yukari, walking home through the district, didn't really notice anything at first. But after the song finishes the first time, and starts up the second, it's suddenly much more attention-grabbing. She pauses, not willing immediately to draw attention to herself, but just standing there watching as the song goes on.]

[ there's a minor pause when she finishes, a brief glance up at the moon, before she abruptly turns her head to look at Yukari. There are no words quite yet; she seems to be expecting the other girl to speak first. ]

[She's slightly startled by the abruptness with which the other girl turned to her. Warily, she approaches, thinking that staying at this distance would be weirder than not.]

...Uh, hi. Sorry, I was listening in...

It was... kinda captivating.

I thank you for those generous words, but I may not claim full credit.

[Why is Gumi out about this late?]

[Oh look! An outdoor stage! Actually, hearing someone's song was what really drew the diva in. It was such a pretty melody, Gumi didn't want to interrupt her. So she opted to hold her applause until after the second time.]

Wow! That was really wonderful!

[ This is the sort of thing that will ping Chihaya every single time, without fail. She's standing off to the side, looking more serious than she usually does nowadays; recent events may have lightened Chihaya's mood and bearing, but her dedication to singing remains as intense as ever. ]

[ Her expression softens when Takane launches into the second round, though, and there are a few unguarded moments of silence before Chihaya stirs, murmuring half to herself. ]

... there was definitely a difference the second time...

Then you, too, have noticed it.

[ Chihaya nods. ]

It's almost as if the lyrics' impact had been... amplified, and like I'd never heard the main melody before...

[ She pauses and shakes her head ruefully. ]

They've really given us something incredible.

And fitting, is it not?

Though to sing for the sake of music... has also remained.
