[ Who would want to dunk this strapping young man? He is currently sitting on the ledge over the tank, looking out at the guests. When they'd asked for volunteers he'd raised his hand almost immediately. It was all for a good cause, right? Even if it was just entertainment. Besides, who had aim good enough to actually hit the target from fifteen feet?
He's pretty sure he's got nothing to worry about, and he's warm enough in his wet suit, so for now... Minato's just chilling.
Feel free to give him a very cold, very wet surprise. Wipe that apathetic expression right off his face! ]
If Minato's waving then it's totally all right. Conan takes a ball and weighs it thoughtfully. He's much better kicking than throwing, but it's all about the aim -- and if he can hit a tiny clip on a clock tower with a pistol while in a moving helicopter this --
Conan can't help the slight smirk. Let's see if I've still got it.
It's the very first throw. The very first person to approach him. What are the chances he has to worry at all about--
...
Suddenly, he's wet and he's cold and maybe, he thinks, this wasn't such a wise idea after all. It doesn't take much for Minato to break the surface, since the water is barely four feet deep, but when he does he looks like a drowned puppy, hair in his eyes and dripping down his face while his mouth settles into a frown.
"N-Not bad..." Shivering a little, he clears the hair out of his eyes and glaces back up at the platform. Does he really have to get back up?
Conan's supreme self-satisfaction is slightly lessened as Minato surfaces. His utterly bedraggled state can't help but evoke some pity -- but at the same time, well.
That also makes it more funny.
"Thank you, Minato-niichan! Ne, how did you get up there?"
Minato just shakes his head. He'd gotten up from the outside, of course, but...
"A-Ah... you're welcome." And that was a good question. A quick look revealed that there was a ladder to the side. He hadn't noticed it before. Time to climb it! Minato turned to Conan as he made his way back up. "Your aim is amazing."
"Volunteering, but I still take the job seriously." And he does. He even sits up straighter... even as he hugs himself and tries to rub some warmth back into his arms.
"You can pass me one if you want." There are a few near the dunking booth waiting for him to wise up and leave. But he's not going to do that. not yet.

Conan blinked as Minato prepared to climb back onto the platform. "Eh? You're doing it again?"

"I'll see you soon, Minato-niisan!" And he's off -- looking for a hot drink.

Conan sure is a weird kid. He didn't even wait for Minato to say goodbye.
