[She's discovered her power by this point, but there's no reason not to want to test it and hone it. If her extra boost can help someone in a dangerous situation - even if she's unsure about her power, Namine was right, it's not totally useless.

She'll just be standing a fair distance away, looking a bit uneasy, her hands folded into the sides of her overlarge cloak. It looks strange with her modern sweater and jeans, but she wouldn't trade it for a jacket if you paid her.]

[And her eyes are instantly drawn to the puppy. She crouches down, holding out a hesitant hand.]

- hi! Who's this?

[Laurent smiles amused even if she's not paying attention to him. The puppy waves his tails and tries to lick her hand.]

That's my friend Hunter, he followed me here. And he loves pettings.

Hello, Hunter. [Speaking in a hushed, almost reverent voice. She didn't expect to see animals here.

Then she giggles softly when her hand is licked, and lifts it up to scratch between his ears.]

No, I arrived before he did. But he can always find me, he did the same in my world.

I saw someone else with a pet, too... a big alligator-looking thing. She said it wasn't dangerous, though. [Finally, she stands up to face Laurent.] It's strange, but I'm happy for you that you didn't have to give up a pet like that.

Um, do you need help practicing? [Yes, right, that's what we're here for. Not puppy playtime.]

An alligator? [What. Such a strange choice for a pet.] I don't need anybody to practice, my power only works with plants. But I though I could helps others and learn about their powers.

Oh, I met someone else who could do that! He made some flowers for my friend. [She glances around for a plant for Laurent to practice on, so that she can display her own power.] I can show you my power, if there are any plants around... too bad it's winter.

I usually practice in my district, even if it's winter in the Sigyn's house the garden still flourish. What's your power about?

Well, it's easier to show than explain... but I just make other peoples' powers stronger. If I concentrate on them, my power kind of charges up theirs.

Do you think so? It's not very specific... I can't attack or heal or anything like that. But I still want to practice, because if someone's healing power wasn't strong enough to fix a certain injury... I guess I could make all the difference. You know?

I can't either, but you can helps other in a fight too. And healing is really important, that's true.
