Still, her somber expression returns. ] I wanted to ( Read more... )

[video] hello, purple haired pony who sounds vaguely like Rikku XD metaleyedgirl December 8 2011, 22:05:59 UTC
[Slightly confused]

Uh...the sun and clouds and stuff are supposed to move on their own. No one does it.

They are most definitely not supposed to move on their own. Thaaat's really not at all natural. [ Even if that's how it works in the Everfree Forest. ]

[video] btw, nice icons! metaleyedgirl December 8 2011, 22:19:57 UTC
Yeah, it is! At least, it is back home, and no one else seems worried. Maybe it's just a thing from your home?

I can see how the Princesses wouldn't be anywhere outside of Equestria, but surely other places have similar ponies.

Spira doesn't. I don't think we have anything called a 'pony', anyway. Is that like a donkey?

[And she only knows what that is because of Prince. Sigh this world]

Wellll... yes, ponies are similar to donkeys. [ It feels kind of insulting, though.

No offense to any donkeys out there. ]

Yeah, we don't have 'em. Clouds and everything just naturally move!

How would they move with nopony moving them, though?

[ COUNTERING WITH LOGIC.

Pony logic. ]

Well, the clouds move because the wind pushes them. I think people are doing math and stuff to find out for sure what makes the sun rise and set and everything. But they do it naturally, since, y'know, they're part of nature, like the seasons and stuff.

Wait, you don't even change the seasons on your own? [ SERIOUSLY? No winter wrap-up at all? All of these humans are crazy. ]

No way! That's way too much work, and everything changes on it's own, anyway, so why would we? Nature does all of that for us.

You really don't change the seasons?

No winter wrap-up? Or the running of the leaves?

Granted, in Canterlot we would use magic for most of that, but we still had to do something.

[video] metaleyedgirl December 9 2011, 01:23:05 UTC
Nope! Not even magic can do that, at least not on Spira.

I suppose it would be more difficult, if you can't even control the weather.

[ An entire world just like the Everfree Forest. Scary. ]
