[ Normally, "friends" would indicate that yes, she probably did care about them. But her conversation with Nakama in the other thread makes him doubt that. Someone who cared about the people lost would understand and be a bit more compassionate, right? ]

[ Vriska's real, actual problem is that she does care. It freaks her out and scares her and that's why she's asking. Knowing she dies too ... it's easier, knowing she isn't alone.

Belittling other people is a cheap, easy, cruel way to feel better about it, too, but it's one of the few things she has that she can ACT on. Vriska cares, but she can't afford to show it. Not ever. So Minato, like everyone else, gets the careless flippant dismissal like she doesn't care at all. ]
