[This time, Conan's sitting at the desk in his room. The desk is too high for him, so he's comandeered a couple of cushions from the Hel living room sofa to prop himself up. He's got his notebook in front of him, and is sitting pertly at his desk, every inch the little kid playing at being important. The cheery wave, kind of undoes that impression ( Read more... )

I can't really say I helped Sis. She was more the one always helping me.

As for the next question, I'm not bad with technology, but I'll admit that I never did anything particularly advanced with it either. Still, I wouldn't mind teaching anyone what I know.

...Should I do another introduction, Conan-kun?

I stand corrected! Though Ayumi-neechan seems plenty helpful to me!

If you'd like to -- actually, there's someone here who might need help already!

((Hibiki up there -- have Ayumi and Hibiki threaded before?))

I'll do the introduction a bit later, then. Let's get whoever it is some help first.

[They haven't but I've been meaning to have them do so! Perfect excuse!]

[And a few minutes later...]

Okay, I sent out an offer, so now it's a matter of waiting for a response. I'll do my introduction while I wait:

For those that don't already know me, I'm Ayumi Shinozaki, and I'm in Freyr house. As mentioned before, I'm familiar with the technology, and while I can't do anything advanced, I can help teach people how to use it on a basic level, and I've gotten a handle on this new power well enough to make small gifts, for those who want anything. I also have a limited amount of knowledge in the occult and know quite a bit about myths and urban legends of Japan, if you want to know about that. I know quite a bit about aromatherapy, too: I can find a candle for any mood or situation.

As for what I'd kind of like to find out from people... For those worlds that have curses, I need to know about methods involving breaking extremely powerful curses.

Of course! My goal is to be an illustrator, after all!

[And yes, she's pulling out her sketchbook: First, have a picture of you, Conan!]

First, we of course have you! That's how these things go, after all. I've got a sketch of my snowman, too. Oh! And someone else has this adorable pet they named Miki! I'll show you that, too!

[...yep, here's the snowman, and a chibified picture of a Feraligatr]

Me?

[ Ha ... ]

The snowman's good! But is that really a pet? I've never seen any animal quite like it ... a crocodile?

It really is a lot like a crocodile, isn't it? But it's bipedal, and there are apparently a lot in the world where she comes from. Isn't it adorable? It's well-toned too, so you can see the muscles. Just by looking at a picture of it, you can tell how it moves! I bet it could move pretty efficiently by using its hands, too.

That's an interesting world! Ne, what's her name, your friend with the interesting pet?

...Ah... I forgot to ask.

[Sorry, she was too distracted by the giant bipedal alligator to ask.]

Well, if you find out, let me know! I'm curious.
