[Yuri is seated in the kitchen of Odin House. He's made himself some tea. This particular kind of tea is not ideal, and the same can be said of the honey, which is of rather low quality, but it will have to do for now. He takes a thoughtful sip, then returns the teacup to its saucer ( Read more... )

Why? I mean, okay, I get that yer protestin' us being here but I dunno what sittin' around refusing to do anything will do.

...Seems boring.

Anyway, if yer willin' to help out people that's interacting, makin' connections, and doin' exactly what this place wants ya t' do. Isn't it?

[He's not trying to judge, or even get into an argument, he's just curious. And he can't fathom the idea of not participating. He's the active, loud, obnoxious sort.]

I refuse to participate in this endeavor, yes. I am aware I am likely to be forced to do so, but that will happen against my will, and I wish to make that clear.

They wish us to live and experience emotion, too. I can hardly stop doing those things, yet I must do something. I can't turn a blind eye to such injustice.

If I see a chance to act in some other way, short of violence, I will take it.

I imagine that the so-called gods who are holding us here can can see everything transmitted on this network they've created. I can't say how closely they monitor us, however.

I hope to be able to address them directly at some point. Making one's opinion known is an important part of activism.

I'll agree on that point. Hey, have ya tried talking to th' god who runs your house? Might be helpful.

[He nods.]

No, Odin wasn't here when I arrived. I'm not sure how I might contact him, though I would like to speak to him, or with any of the others.

Have you spoken to any of the gods yourself?

Uh, looked pretty young, blond, shorter hair than I expected. We didn't get much time t' chat, there were a lotta people comin' into the house, made things kinda hectic!

He wanted t' know why I was surprised by how he looked. He's not really like anythin' like the pictures've him suggested he'd look like.
