and yet i feel that there is great truth to it.
my own personal experience has made this more apparent to me than anything.
is it not human nature to seek happiness?
even if one would argue and say they prefer monotony
an effort must still be made in order to achieve such stability.

You speak truth as well, that even in remaining tranquil and unaffected, one must exercise effort to attain that state. As for myself, I can no more describe my desires than I can perpetually obscure the moon in the sky. To attempt to do so would require a considerable lack of refinement and foolishness on my part.
