We don't know enough about what they want to figure out why they made the choices they made yet, unfortunately. But differences in time not withstanding, we're still family, so we should look out for each other.

That appears to be true for now, though you're right that it's likely to change in the future since they've given us abilities we didn't have before. And if murders can happen even on Rokkenjima, I'm not going to count anywhere as completely safe.
