first year m/s memories.
you know how they had these big frames in the m/s building of all the previous graduating classes? you know, the ones from the froning era, the ones bryson edmonds was soooooo proud of?
somehow i bet they never put one up for the old class of 98 - the last class to remember the old m/s building by alabama power.
it was near that etheridge brothers place where zach huelsing got the worst haircut of all time. also, this is back when there was still a burger king at the bus station, along with the cigarette machine that sold 'bugler'.
at least we had someone run off with the rainbow people my first year. that was so long ago that you were busted on for having a cell phone (totally a motorola zach morris cell phone) and being from gadsden.
this was before the fence. back when rolling down the big hill was a perfectly acceptable sporting event, and mud fights were all the rage.
oh yes, and heather kemp talent shows still warm my heart to this day. she is the wind beneath my colors of the wind wings.
